Research Associate

Acting Thematic Head Job Growth and Human Resource Development under CPEC

Mr. Muzammil is a Research Associate at the Center of Excellence for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CE-CPEC) and currently leading the thematic research area of Job Growth and Human Resource Development under CPEC. Prior to working for CE-CPEC he was employed by the Ministry of Planning, Development & Reform where he worked on a number of strategic projects including CPEC.

His flagship projects in MOPDR was ‘Brand Pakistan’ and PC I approval of cultural exchange programs with China. He was a Confucius Scholar where he attend the Language & Cultural courses in Beijing Language and Culture University as well as Shaoxing University China. He also worked for Chinese language & culture promotion in Pakistan.

Mr. Muzammil earned his Master in Development Economics & International Studies from the Friedrich-Alexander University, Germany. He speaks Urdu, English and is hoping to improve his knowledge of Chinese and German.

His interests include peace & conflict studies, development cooperation, event management, travelling to experience new culture & environment and volunteer work/Community involvement.
