MoU Signing Ceremony Between CoE-CPEC and Buitems, Quetta

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Centre of Excellence-China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CoE-CPEC), Islamabad and Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering Management Sciences, Quetta on 17^th April 2018, Quetta. The MoU was signed by Dr. Shahid Rashid, Executive Director CoE-CPEC and Engr. Ahmed Farooq Bazai, Vice Chancellor BUITEMS. The ceremony was attended by senior officials of CoE-CPEC, BUITEMS and Government of Balochistan.

The purpose of MoU signing was to share common objectives and proceed between BUITEMS and CoE-CPEC, which mainly includes the pursuit of collaborative research for CPEC projects, and to undertake and promote joint activities which include commissioning research studies on opportunities and challenges related to the ongoing and planned CPEC developments, training and capacity building activities, Outreach and dissemination activities including roundtables, stakeholder meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, exchange of technical experts, exchange and sharing of data, library resources, research techniques, publications, reports, or software.
