MoU Signing Ceremony Between CoE-CPEC and Longer Development Pvt. Ltd

Noting the importance of evidence-based research and policy in the CPEC related policy issues and the value of international/national collaboration in the academic and research area a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Centre of Excellence for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CoE-CPEC) Islamabad and Longer Development Pvt. Ltd on August 30, 2019. The MoU was signed by Dr. Liaqat Ali Shah, Executive Director, CoE-CPEC and Mr. XU Donghai, Vice Mayor of Xuzhou. Mr. XU Donghai graced the event along with a delegation, including officials and business community of Xuzhou city.

The MoU will facilitate various modes of cooperation between the two parties including participation in, and co-hosting of lectures, meetings, seminars, symposia, conferences, invitation/ participation of students/researchers/staff in fully funded national and international conferences, seminars and events. The MoU will also facilitate sharing of vision and expertise with each other in the formulation of policies, economic studies, sectoral reports, project specific reports / information and promotional material within the limits of legal rules and collaboration to provide evidence base research to enhance trade, investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.
