MOU SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN COE-CPEC AND QUAID–I–AZAM UNIVERSITY, ISLAMABAD

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Centre of Excellence-China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CoE-CPEC), Islamabad and Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad on 27th February 2019,      Islamabad. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdul Jalil, Executive Director, CoE-CPEC and Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor QAU.

The purpose of MoU signing was to share common objectives and to proceed on research activities between QAU and CoE-CPEC. The activities discussed mainly includes the pursuit of collaborative research for CPEC projects, to undertake and promote joint activities which include commissioning research studies on opportunities and challenges related to the ongoing and planned CPEC developments, training and capacity building, Outreach and dissemination activities. It was also discussed to include roundtables conferences, stakeholder meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, exchange of technical experts, exchange and sharing of data, library resources, research techniques, publications and reports.
