A Seminar on Industrie4.0 and its prospects for industrial development under CPEC was organized by Trade and Industry Cooperation under CPEC and Regional Integration under CPEC themes of CoE CPEC on 8th February 2018 at PIDE, Islamabad. Industry experts addressed the audience as guest speakers on the topic. Mr. Azhar Zia-ur-Rehman, Senior consultant, Building Information Modeling, discussed the maturity levels of industrie4.0 and highlighted standing of Pakistan in comparison to rest of the world. Moreover, he mentioned how to assess the maturity level of industry and at
which level CPEC industries should be to be the part of fast growing technology pace. This is essential requirement which is expected to be met in Special Economic Zones. New Industrial zones under CPEC will be developed on the basis of modern technology.

 CPEC, Centre of Excellence, China Pakistan, Pak-china friendship, COE CPEC, China Pakistan Economic CorridorSecondly, Dr. Azfar Khalid, Assistant Professor at CUST University, emphasized on the link between industrie4.0 and manufacturing as well as logistics.
