ICAP Conference – “CPEC- Myths & Realities”

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being presented as a framework of connectivity and a journey towards economic regionalization in the globalized world. To explore in detail and unveil Myths and Realities a Conference was held on the theme of “CPEC- Myths and Realities” on February 17, 2018 at Avari Hotel, Lahore.

The CPEC Conference brought together fifteen high-profile experts, leaders, thinkers, business personnel and professionals from all over Pakistan to enlighten upon the concept.  The Conference provided a magnificent opportunity of meeting and interacting with more than 550 top business and finance professionals ready to assimilate an in-depth view of this mega event and interested to explore avenues stemming from it.

Honourable Federal Minister for Interior and Planning, Development & Reform, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal graced the event as chief guest. Dr. Salman Shah, Former Advisor to Prime Minister and leading economist, Dr. Ishrat Hussain Former Governor State Bank of Pakistan/ Former Dean IBA and Dr. Shahid Rashid, Executive Director – Centre of Excellence for CPEC shared their vision and thoughts with the participants on various topics unfolding CPEC Myths and Realities.
