Centre of Excellence-CPEC has arranged a three day long International conference on “China Pakistan Economic Corridor: Opportunities & Challenges” from 27th February -1st March, 2018 in collaboration with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar.
National and International researchers presented their research papers in the conference. Several sessions were arranged to discuss different topics including “Socio-Economic, Culture, Ethnic issues and regional integration in context of CPEC”.
A panel discussion was also conducted on “CPEC: Myths and Realities” moderated by Dr Shahid Rasheed Executive Director (CoE-CPEC), Mr. Hasan Daud Butt Project Director CPEC Secretariat, MoPDR, Lt Gen (R) Mohammad Asghar consultant CPEC (HEC), Dr Abdul Shakoor, Malik Mirza, Mustafa Hyder Syed CEO (Pakistan China Institute) and Dr Raza Rahman Khan hold the session. Chinese academicians, businessmen and policy makers were also in attendance.
MoU signing ceremony between Centre of Excellence-CPEC and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University was carried out to conduct collaborative research activities. The event was well received by national and international academicians, researchers, policy makers and covered by media.
